One minute’s silence today at 11am in memory of the Manchester victims

Message from the Mayor of Calderdale, Cllr Ferman Ali:

This morning at 11am, a national minute’s silence will be observed across the country, to pay tribute to the victims and all those affected by the terrorist attack in Manchester on Monday evening.
We will stand together as a mark of respect, and as a sign of how all of us are coming together at this tragic time.
We will continue to fly the flag at half-mast at Halifax Town Hall.
I will be at Halifax Town Hall, joined by faith leaders and colleagues to mark the minute’s silence.
I invite all those who wish to, to join me. There will also be an opportunity to sign our book of condolence, which is in Victoria Hall.

Thank you
