On Sunday 2 April, Halifax Central Initiative and the Safer Cleaner Greener team, organised a free family Easter Egg hunt in people’s Park,  with over 80 children from across Calderdale attending with parents for the egg-tra special day!.  The event showcased this wonderful 160 year old, Green Flag park in the heart of Calderdale, with kids having to fill in a question sheet with clues about the park itself…fun and factual! Questions ranged from the history of the park to the types of trees within the grounds.   The event involved a free raffle prize and we had three young people who won Easter Eggs.  The day that was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
